Sacred Womens Voices is a spiritual uplift taking you on a journey through the song, psalm and chants of women from around the globe.
Performances highlights included; original songs from Indigenous artist Gambirra, the Gazi Husrev-bey Choir, a Carnatic krithi in Sanskrit by Indu Balachandran, incantations from poet Dorothy Makasa, a Buddhist chant by mother and daughter Sunetra, Beautiful Persian Baha’i prayers by Mai Roushan..
Into the mix a sensory feast of visual projection and eclectic samples from the canon of sacred women’s voices featured in this event.
